Election Integrity Training, Virginia-Specific
Learn the laws, rules, roles, and responsibilities of Election Workers and Campaign Volunteers in Virginia polling locations
The right to vote is fundamental to our representative republic. Elections must be fair and free. It should be "Easy to Vote, Hard to Cheat".
Virginians for Fair Elections is a coalition of organizations in the Commonwealth that are working to ensure the November 2021 elections are fair and free. They hosted an Election Integrity Summit on August 20 and 21. This free, on-demand training features two presentations on Virginia election laws. While the information is state-specific, the ideas taught are foundational for any Election Worker or Poll Watcher for any election anywhere.
Dr. Clara Belle Wheeler, Senior Fellow for Public Policy at the Virginia Institue for Public Policy, is a former member of the Virginia State Board of Elections. She studied and analyzed the more than one hundred changes to election law passed by the state legislature and signed by the governor. Dr. Wheeler explains these changes during this training.
